Looking for inspiration for Christmas day table settings? Or, looking for a personalised homemade gift?

I made these last year when we hosted our first Christmas dinner at home. I used them as place name settings and they doubled up as gifts to hang on the Christmas tree. 🎄

I always fancied having ago at pyrography (as I now know it’s called) after seeing lots of inspiration on pinterest. It is a lovely craft but definitely one to do when the kids are in bed! I found it super relaxing and the smell of the burning wood is like incense. After one false start I found it surprisingly easy to get a good result and was super pleased with the finished product.

I bought the pre drilled wooden discs and pyrography wand off amazon and they were relatively inexpensive. I am going to try something a bit bigger next on a wooden chopping board.
